Exam Special!!!

It’s eight in the morning and you have
three exams today. You’ve been studying all night and are ready to ace
them. The only problem is you don’t know what to wear.
Exam fashion is almost as complicated as the exams
themselves; it’s understood that you don’t need to look your best, but
where do you draw the line at looking your worst? That’s why I’m here
to help you with all of you exam fashion issues.
I have received several emails and letters from students
who want to know what to wear to their exams, so I’m going to take some
time out now to answer those letters and hopefully help all that are
confused in the world of exam fashion.

Dear Andy,
I have an exam at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, I want to
wear my overalls and a T-shirt, will I get laughed at? Overall GPA
Overall,
You won’t get laughed at, but you may be better off
wearing sweats or pajama pants and a sweatshirt. 10 a.m. is pretty early,
and denim isn’t the answer that early in the morning.

Dear Andy,
I’m not planning on showering for any of my exams,
I would rather sleep in and just get up and go. I normally shower daily,
but I don’t think it’s necessary for exams. My girlfriend says I’m wrong.
Who’s right? Stinky Sullivan
Stinky,
Tell your girlfriend she is in the wrong, partially.
Showering for exams is a nice gesture, but not a necessary one. You
do, however, need to think about showering for any exam after 4:00 p.m.;
otherwise, that’s just not right. Dear Andy, I have several business
classes and want to look professional while taking the exams. Is a nice
pants suit acceptable? Dressed for Success Dressed, If you are not required
to dress up for the exams, don’t. Exams are all about dressing down,
sweats and pajama pants are the way to go no matter what. Look for comfort,
not professionalism – you’ll have the rest of your life to dress professional.

Dear Andy,
What is the best way to go fashionably speaking for
a multiple-choice open book, open note test? Open minded
Open,
An open book, open note, multiple choice test is
a very laid back situation, and your attire should mirror that. When
you think of that kind of test you think simple, so dress the same.
A hat or hair pulled back with a nice set of sweats is the way to go.

I hope I have helped everyone and everyone
has learned a thing or two about dressing for exams. Comfort is the
key and there is nothing more that spells comfort than s-w-e-a-t-s.
