Class withdrawal deadline
The deadline for withdrawing from an individual class for the spring semester 2002 is 5 p.m. March 22. No individual class withdrawals will be allowed after this date.
Students with extenuating circumstances may still withdraw completely from the university until 5 p.m. April 19, although after March 22 they will receive Es for failing work and Ws for passing work of D- or better. Students may not withdraw completely from the university during the final week of regular classes or during the week of exams.
A student may withdraw from a class by securing a withdrawal request card from the Registrar’s Office, Warriner Hall 212, the Student Service Court in the Bovee University Center, or the departmental offices. A student is not officially withdrawn from the class until the completed card is submitted to the Registrar’s Office or the Student Service Court.
Easter Egg Scramble
The 16th annual Great Easter Egg Scramble will take place March 23 at Finch Fieldhouse. The activity is offered free of charge and made possible by a grant from LaBelle Management. Activities including prizes, treats, arts and crafts, and games will be offered throughout the afternoon.
May graduation deadline
Graduate students who plan to receive their master’s, specialist or doctoral degree at the close of the May 2002 semester must submit an application for graduation on or before March 25 to be accepted for the May 2002 graduation. Applications are available from the College of Graduate Studies Office, Foust 100, or call 774-GRAD
