Grand jury indictments expected today

The Mount Pleasant Police Department and Isabella County Prosecutor Larry Burdick will host a press conference at 4 p.m. today concerning the grand jury homicide investigation of the DeMarcus Graham homicide.

There will be information about indictments issued today by the Isabella County Chief Judge Paul H. Chamberlin, the lone grand juror.

Unidentified assailants allegedly beat Graham outside Shaboom’s Pub Club, 106 Court St., last June. He died at St. Mary’s Hospital in July of 2004 from injuries sustained in the fight.
