Scavenger hunt to increase knowledge of CMU, community

Students with any questions about CMU or Mount Pleasant can get them
answered Friday night.

A campus-wide scavenger hunt, dubbed “Mission Impossible,” will take
place from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. and give people a chance to search for
answers to questions about CMU and the community.

“Mission Impossible” will start in Robinson Residential Restaurant,
where participants will receive scavenger questions and clues.

“This event will help students feel more comfortable with their
living arrangements on campus and in our community,” said Nichole
Crosson, Oxford sophomore and “Mission Impossible” chairwoman.

Winners of the hunt will receive a prize of their choice valued at
$200. The prize will be issued to the winning residence hall.

After the hunt, Robinson Hall will offer participants games, free
food, dancing and raffle prizes.

Bloomfield Hills sophomore Amanda Daniels said the event will be one
more good way for students to meet people.

Daniels, a member of the “Mission Impossible” group, said she
expects a couple hundred people to come out.

“This is something to do instead of just going out and getting
crazy,” she said.

Students interested in participating should ask their hall president
or Residence Hall Assembly representatives about being on their hall’s
team.
