Decker sets Mid-American Conference record for shutouts
Senior goalkeeper Anne Decker set the Mid-American Conference record for career shutouts Sunday in the soccer team's scoreless tie at Miami.
The shutout was Decker's 25th of her career and sixth of the season.
"It's something I've been looking (to do) awhile," Decker said. "It wasn't just me, it was the team."
Decker tied the mark in a 3-0 win Friday against Ball State.
The record was held by Eastern Michigan's Sarah Willis. She set the record in 2000.
Read Central Michigan Life on Monday for a full story about Decker's accomplishment.
