Falcons, Bulls play for MAC East lead

Buffalo at Bowling Green

Bowling Green could pull into a tie for a lead in the Mid-American Conference East Division with a win against the Bulls. Senior quarterback Drew Willy is having the best season of his career with 2,348 passing yards and 18 touchdowns. He has just four interceptions this season, two fewer than last season. Bowling Green quarterback Tyler Sheehan’s numbers dropped off from last season when he threw 23 touchdowns. Sheehan has 16 touchdowns this season.

Toledo at Miami (Ohio)

7 p.m. today

The Rockets hope to end coach Tom Amstutz’s final season on a good note with their last two games of the season at home, beginning today with Miami. Toledo (2-8, 1-5 MAC) has lost four consecutive games since beating Michigan 13-10 on Oct. 11. The Rockets are coming off a 27-17 loss to Western Michigan. The RedHawks (2-8, 1-5 MAC) also are on a skid, having lost three consecutive games since beating Bowling Green 27-20 on Oct. 18 for their lone conference win. Running back Thomas Merriweather leads Miami with 547 yards and four touchdowns.
