Indiana at No. 17 Wake Forest
7:15 p.m. Wednesday

Indiana lost Verdell Jones III to injury against Cornell, but looks for fellow freshman Tom Pritchard to keep putting up big numbers.?Pritchard, who leads Big Ten freshmen in scoring with 15.8 points per game, scored a career-high 23 points against Cornell.? Six of Indiana’s seven top scorers are freshmen. It looks to stop Wake Forest’s six-game winning streak and Jeff Teague, the Deacons’ leading scorer, who averages 22.5 points and four assists.

Michigan at Maryland
7:30 p.m. Wednesday

The Wolverines travel to College Park, Md., to face off against the 5-2 Maryland Terrapins in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Maryland already defeated Michigan State, but then lost to Gonzaga and Georgetown. The Terrapins look to snap their two-game losing streak against UM.? The Wolverines will need to watch out for Greivis Vasquez, who averages 20 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. Michigan’s Manny Harris leads the team with 22.3 points per game. UM looks to add another big win after upsetting then-No. 4 UCLA two weeks ago.

Auburn at No. 14 Xavier
8 p.m. Wednesday

After beating then-No. 12 Memphis in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off Championship, the Xavier Musketeers look to keep their 6-0 undefeated streak alive against the Auburn Tigers.?Xavier freshman Terrell Holloway is playing well after stepping in to replace injured point guard Dante Jackson.?Auburn is bitter after a loss in overtime to Dayton in the Chicago Invitational Challenge, and then another loss against Northern Iowa, which brought the Tigers’ record to 3-3. DeWayne Reed leads the Tigers with his 13.8 points per game, but will need help from the rest of the mostly veteran team.

No. 9 UCLA at No. 8 Texas
9 p.m. Thursday

The 5-1 Longhorns take on the 4-1 Bruins on Thursday.?Texas is fresh off a win against Rice on Sunday, and is looking to keep its top-10 ranking with a win against the UCLA Bruins. A.J. Abrams leads the Longhorns with 18 points per game, but will need some help from his teammates against UCLA’s tough defense.?The starting guard, Darren Collison, leads the team with 14.5 points and 4.8 assists per game.

No. 1 North Carolina vs. No. 12 Michigan State
9:15 p.m. Wednesday at Ford Field

The 4-1 Spartans take on the undefeated 7-0 Tar Heels in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. With the actual Michigan State basketball court being moved to Ford Field, the Spartans should feel at home and have the home court advantage. It also could preview April’s Final Four, which also will take place at Ford Field. But it could be a difficult task to take down Tyler Hansbrough and the No. 1 Tar Heels. It is still uncertain if MSU starting forward Goran Suton will play because of injury.
