I mean I'm not smarter than the market, but I can recognize a good tape and a bad tape. I recognize when it's right and when it's wrong and that's what my strength is.

Kudos for moving to a more modern system, but come on guys - perform a code review, cause there are some huge no no's being done.

- css not in a css file (within style tags? so 1996)
- js within the html document
- useless html comments. should be stripped during deployment (just adds more bytes to download guys)
- the content of your head tag is MASSIVE. move script includes to just before the end body tag. the page will load a lot faster.
- spacing within the document source is all over the place, indicating multiple developers. get everyone on the same page and enforce standards for spacing and formatting. this will reduce the overall size of the document youre serving to readers.
- inline script is BAD (im saying this again)
- most of the pages have a doctype of xhtml 1.0 trans, yet they dont validate.
- the css documents (not included by wordpress) dont validate.
- the js included isn't min'd.

A step in the right direction, but there have to be some pro-level webdevs on campus somewhere guys. Geeks are abound on a college campus, and the site could get some improvements still.

I really like the new look and the "virtual edition" section. I wish I could still be around to work with it personally.
