The football team will play Northern Illinois at 1 p.m. Nov. 27 in Kelly/Shorts Stadium.
CMU (8-2, Mid-American Conference) will have a chance to win the MAC West that game if NIU (7-3, 5-1) and CMU both win its upcoming games.
Central defeated Nothern Illinois 33-30 in overtime in Dekalb last season.
The time of the game was delayed its announcement because of a potential deal with ESPNU to broadcast the game. ESPN360.com will broadcast the game.
CMU’s game against Ball State at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Muncie will be shown on ESPN2.

Hey Chip fans, the game is not televised, need all of the fans and sturdents to skip out on shopping and make the trip back up to Mt. P!
Like CMU is going to have any fear going into this one….HA
They’ve beaten the crap out of everyone so far in the MAC…if not for the non-conference games, if they’d won even 1 of the two they lost, they’d be in the Top 25 where they pretty much belong. If they were to win out before a bowl game they could pretty much be ranked anyways. Very good team this year; been great to see smoking everyone in the MAC.
I don’t see a loss here; should be a good Thanksgiving weekend….go Chips
