There's all sorts of extra charges placed on top of renting too. Say if you have something to set up, the university won't let you do it, their people have to do it and it's an a huge extra charge. Why pay some townie to set up a moon bounce when I can do it myself? Waiver's can be signed that say if something happens we wouldn't sue so it's not liable stuff. It's just gouging.
