Dan LeFevour invited to East/West Shrine Game on Jan. 23

CMU senior quarterback Dan LeFevour was invited to the 85th Annual East/West Shrine Game.

The game takes place at 3 p.m. Jan. 23 at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla.

LeFevour is one of two quarterbacks on the East squad, the other being Fordham University’s John Skelton. Other notable East players include Michigan State wide receiver Blair White, Buffalo wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt, Michigan running back Brandon Minor and Toledo strong safety Barry Church.

LeFevour has completed 230 of 321 passes for 2,533 yards, 22 touchdowns and five interceptions, while rushing for 626 yards and 14 touchdowns this season. He was named one of ten finalists for the Davey O’Brien Award, given to the nation’s top quarterback, but did not make the top three in voting.
