Tony D’Alie (149 pounds), Steve Brown (157), Ben Bennett (174) and Jarod Trice (285) all advanced with wins.
D’Alie won via major decision over Navy’s Glenn Shober 12-3 to set up a match against American’s Kyle Borshoff. D’Alie and Borshoff have split their two decisions this season.
Brown will take on Kurt Kinser after a 10-7 decision over Kyle John of Maryland.
For Bennett and Trice, it came down to one takedown a piece.
Bennett scored a takedown in the last 40 seconds in the third period to take a 4-2 lead and only allowed an escape to take the 4-3 win.
For Trice, it was sudden victory against Nebraska’s Tucker Lane, but Trice got the takedown to win 3-1.
All four Chippewas need to win two more matches each to gain All-American status.
