UPDATE: RFoC renovation proposal will not be voted on Thursday

A proposal to renovate the Carey Hall Real Food on Campus residential restaurant incorrectly made its way onto the official agenda for the CMU Board of Trustees meeting Thursday.

The board will not be voting on an $850,000 renovation project for the RFoC as previously reported, said Steve Smith, director of public relations.

“It was something that was inadvertently left on the agenda,” he said. “It was a simple mistake.”

Smith said he is not aware at this time if the renovation project will be discussed at a future board meeting, and if so, when that will be.

Wasn't this restaurant just majorly renovated about 7 years ago? Why would it already need renovation?
