LETTER: Basketball team needs continued fan support
Rowdies:
Our basketball program would like to thank you for your overwhelming support at our games. We missed that passion and loyalty while you were on break and it was great to see the Rowdies section FULL of supportive students helping us win last Wednesday night.
Your support is going to be crucial as we compete for a MAC Championship. In order to defend our back to back MAC West Division Championships, we need your passion and support! The Rowdie section is our sixth man. When our opponents come to McGuirk arena we want them to know they are in for 40 minutes of tough basketball and will be playing in front of a raucous crowd. They’re not only playing against the 18 young men on our basketball team, they are playing against the rowdiest fans in the country!
On behalf of our entire program, thanks again for your support. I can’t wait to see the rowdy atmosphere continue tomorrow night at 7pm vs. Northern Illinois and through the rest of the season. We are in this together. Let’s go win a third MAC West Championship!
