UPDATE: Tornado Warning in effect for Isabella County
The tornado and warning previously in effect for southeastern Isabella County has been reduced to a severe storm warning.
The National Weather Service issued the tornado warning at 6:30 p.m. today.
The severe thunderstorm watch will remain in effect until midnight on Wednesday.
NWS said the storm could produce damaging wind in excess of 60 miles per hour, destructive hail, deadly lightning and very heavy rain. Additionally, heavy rain floods roads quickly and NWS recommends not driving into areas where water covers the road.
Finally, NWS recommends moving to an interior room on the lowest floor of homes or businesses.
