Rollover accident results in no injuries, multiple charges
A rollover accident on Remus Road has led to multiple charges after the driver fled the scene on Wednesday.
When deputies arrived to the scene Wednesday morning the driver, a 24-year-old Mount Pleasant man, had fled leaving a passenger, a 36-year-old Vestaburg woman, at the scene, said Isabella County Sheriff Leo Mioduszewski.
The driver was charged on four counts; driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license, resisting and obstructing the police and failure to report an injury accident.
“There doesn’t appear to be any serious injuries as a result of the accident,” Mioduszewsk said. “The suspect has yet to be arraigned.”
