Mount Pleasant woman missing, Amber Alert for her son canceled

An Isabella County woman and her son were reported missing after not being seen since Friday.

The woman, 34-year-old Stephanie Rochelle Fish, is a white female. She was last seen at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Friday at her friend’s house.

In a press release, the Isabella County Sheriff’s Department named Stephanie’s husband Jason Lantz Fish as a person of interest.

“(Her friend) just said, ‘Hey I haven’t been able to get a hold of Stephanie,’” said Isabella County Sheriff Leo Mioduszewski. “We’ve got local law enforcement trying to locate him so we can figure out what is going on. Right now, we’re just treating it as missing person until we can determine if there has been a crime committed or they’re all safe.”

Their son, four-year-old Brody Fish, was also reported missing in an Amber Alert.

Central Dispatch said the Amber Alert for Brody was called off Sunday evening after the child was located with his father.

No other updates were available.
