Office of Information Technology starting holiday maintenance on portal Thursday
The Central Michigan University Office of Information Technology will start maintenance Thursday on various services within the university’s student portal.
According to an email sent out to faculty and students late last week, OIT will begin replacing QuickTime streaming at 9 a.m. Friday.
From 5 p.m. Monday through 8 a.m. Wednesday, the office will perform storage relocation on Blackboard. Course purging is scheduled to happen beginning 5 p.m. Dec. 24 through 5 p.m. Jan. 1. During these times, brief outages may come up, preventing students and faculty from accessing the service.
Additionally, an upgrade to LISTSERV is scheduled from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Dec. 28.
Anyone with questions or concerns are asked to contact the OIT Help Desk at 774-3662 or email helpdesk@cmich.edu.
