Union Township traffic stop leads to marijuana arrest

Michigan State Police arrested a 30-year-old man in Union Township Friday for possession of marijuana after stopping the vehicle for having an unsecured load.

Orlan Lee Carll, of Weidman, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.

The trooper discovered and seized packaged marijuana and a digital scale, which allegedly belonged to Carll.

Carll was held at Isabella County Jail and was later arraigned on felony drug charges Friday with a second offense notice. He has since bonded out of jail.
