The Central Review literary journal accepts many forms of creative writing, including poetry, prose, fiction, creative nonfiction, visual art and play writes.
The magazine puts out issues for the fall and spring semesters in November and April, respectively.
Central Review Editor-in-Chief Kylee Tolliver said those wishing to submit their work to the publication can send it to the Central Review email address.
“They can submit it to our gmail account, which is firstname.lastname@example.org, and when they do, we ask that they include a third-person autobiography,” the Perry senior said.
She stressed the importance of submitting an autobiography along with the body of work, as often times, Central Review editors have to track people down afterward to get their autobiography.
Tolliver said her goal for the magazine this year is to focus on quality.
“I’m just focused on putting out a quality magazine,” Tolliver said. “This year, there are a lot of new people on staff, and it’s my first time heading a staff.”
The deadline for submissions for the fall edition is Oct. 18.
