Central Michigan University President George Ross is scheduled to host a Benefits and Wellness Picnic for CMU employees from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday outside Warriner Hall.
The event is geared to “celebrate the commitment (CMU) has made to health,” Ross wrote in a press release.
A free lunch as well as CMU benefits and wellness vendors will be available to answer questions about healthcare concerns and policies.
Attendees will also have the ability to challenge their coworkers to outdoor activities and get a sneak peak of CMU’s new Wellness Portal, scheduled to be unveiled July 1.
CMU’s Wellness Program has been nationally recognized for its breadth of services and its ability to avoid high premium costs for its patrons.
