Men's basketball defeats Alcorn State


The men's basketball team snapped a two game losing streak with a 68-64 victory Wednesday at Alcorn State.

Leading the Chippewas was junior forward Marko Spica, who finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Senior guards Jordan Bitzer and Robbie Harman also put together strong games, scoring 16 and 12 points respectively.

The loss was Alcorn State's 17th straight.

CMU (5-7) start Mid-American Conference play on Jan. 9 at Toledo.
