Community Compassion Network to host benefit dinner
More than 500 local families receive donated food from the Community Compassion Network.
CCN is hoping to raise $72,000 at its upcoming fundraising banquet on April 12, to continue to serve those in need.
The Community Compassion Benefit Dinner will be held at the Mount Pleasant Comfort Inn Conference Center, located at 2424 S. Mission St. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., allowing guests time to browse and place bids at a silent auction.
Tickets cost $35 each, and payment as well as donations can be mailed to Community Compassion Network at 1400 W. Broomfield Road before April 7. Tickets will be distributed upon arrival at the dinner.
If you wish to sponsor a silent auction table, the cost is $250, and includes eight tickets.
CCN spends $3,000 per week to remain fully operational. Proceeds will support about six months of services.
