CMU University Theater kicking off summer season tonight
Central Michigan University's University Theatre department is gearing up for its summer season with one of the three plays debuting tonight at 7:30 p.m.
"The Smell of the Kill," opens Thursday night. The dark comedy focuses on "three unloving husbands and their malicious wives."
On Friday, "The Complete World of Sports" opens at 7:30 p.m. The "manically-paced comedy" was created by minds behind "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare."
"Murder by Natural Causes" holds its second performance at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Pegged as a thriller, the story harps on a greedy wife and her plot to kill her husband.
A full schedule of the summer series is as follows:
The Complete World of Sports (abridged) - 7:30 p.m. on June 27 and July 12.
Murder by Natural Causes - 7:30 p.m. on June 28 and July 11.
The Smell of the Kill - 7:30 p.m. on June 26 and July 10. A matinee showing starts at 2 p.m. on June 29.
All performances will be held at Moore Hall's Bush Theatre. Tickets prices range from $7 for seniors and students, $9 for the general public.
