Applications available for fermentation program

Applications are available for Central Michigan University's fermentation science certificate program through the College of Science and Technology. 

The program is the first of its kind in Michigan, and will seek to provide hands-on experience in brewery production processes. The education is focused on craft beer.

The program will include 16 credit hours to obtain a certificate in fermentation science from CMU. Mountain Town Brewing Co. and Hunter's Ale House are partners of the program. 

Review of applications will begin March 7. Applicants will be notified by email by March 16.
