Mount Pleasant Police officers arrested a 21-year-old Central Michigan University student from Wyandotte today on charges of arson and disorderly conduct.

The charges stem from a fire investigation on April 18 at the intersection of Franklin and Gaylord streets as part of the "House Crawl 2015" event that day.

The suspect is being held at the Isabella County Jail. Bond has been set at $10,000.

This is the second CMU student arrested for arson in the past two months. The other was arrested in a St. Patrick’s Day arson.

Both men face criminal charges as well as possible sanctions from CMU’s Office of Student Conduct.
