Threads fashion show takes place April 25

The 17th annual Threads Fashion Show will take place in the Central Michigan University Events Center on Saturday, April 25. 

The show includes a mounted exhibition that starts at 5 p.m. before the runway show at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are available for $16 and can be purchased through Ticket Central.

The exhibition will be displayed in the hallway of the Events Center and featurse garments from past shows, fashion photography, portfolios, illustrations, computer work, visual merchandising for store windows and other two-dimensional work from fashion design students. 

A red carpet backdrop will be available during the exhibition for attendees to take pictures. Local bands and student artists will also play during the exhibition.

The student-run fashion show is the second biggest event on campus. The show is an opportunity for fashion design students to get feedback from experts in the industry and to show off their work to the public.
