Softball to play first home games of the year

For the first time this fall, the Central Michigan softball team will play at home in Margo Jonker Stadium Wednesday and Thursday.

The team will play one 10-inning game against Northwood on Wednesday and 10 innings against Saginaw Valley on Thursday.

Both games will begin at 4 p.m.

The Chippewas return to Jonker Stadium after spending the weekend in Traverse City for the Traverse City Fall Games. The team was 1-2-1 in four games, coming in fourth place in the tournament.
