"Strike Out Breast Cancer" to raise money for Cancer Research Foundation

“Strike Out Breast Cancer” will be held at the Student Activity Center bowling alley to raise money for the Cancer Research Foundation at 7 p.m. Oct. 25.

The event, hosted by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Sigma Kappa Chapter, is to help raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“Breast cancer affects one in four women. It's important to donate to the research which goal is to find a cure,” said Saginaw junior Andrea Buckley. “That statistic is shocking. Just think, it could be your mom, grandma, best friend.”

The cost of a game is $5, with half the cost being donated toward the research foundation.
