Annual Military Appreciation football game this weekend
The football game against Buffalo this weekend will serve as the annual Military Appreciation Football Game.
From 10 a.m. to kick-off at 1 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 17 there will be a tailgate for military members, veterans and their families in the Military Appreciation tent located in the Tailgate Village north of Kelly/Shorts Stadium.
Military members and Veterans will be able to get into the game for free by showing their Military ID, Michigan veteran driver’s license or DD-214.
There will be food and non-alcoholic beverages available at the tailgate in the Military Appreciation tent.
The Military Appreciation Football Game is hosted by the Veterans’ Resource Center at Central Michigan University.
