Sign-ups for Man vs. Mountain now open
Sign-ups for Mount Pleasant's annual Man vs. Mountain winter 5K are now open. Participants who apply before Nov. 1 will receive a discounted fee of $55 rather than the full fee of $70.
The 5K will take place Saturday Feb. 6, 2016.
“Man vs. Mountain is challenging, exhilarating and overall a lot of fun,” said Recreation Coordinator Steve Hofer in a press release Oct 20. “This race was created to provide an additional recreational opportunity during the winter months.
Following the event, join fellow Man vs. Mountain 5K challengers at Mountain Town Station for a warm beverage, hearty meal and the chance to exchange stories from the experience.
