Numerous items were stolen from multiple unlocked vehicles in Lexington Ridge and Deerfield Village apartment complexes between the late evening hours of Oct. 27 and the early morning hours of Oct. 28.

The subject in the photograph has been identified and warrants will be sought for his arrest.

The Isabella County Sheriff’s Department investigated the breaking and entering from footage of two white men seen entering cars on camera at one of the apartment complexes.

The department requested the public’s help with identification of the man seen in the photo that a local business provided of the suspect.

Sheriff Leo Mioduszewski said breaking and entering into unlocked cars is not an uncommon occurence in Mount Pleasant, and that people should be more careful to lock their vehicles.

"Once in a while someone will throw a brick or something through a car window, but a large majority of the time, they will look for unlocked cars," Mioduszewski said.
