President Ross to hold conversation on inclusion and diversity

President George Ross will address the Central Michigan University community on the topics of diversity and inclusion at noon this Friday in Plachta Auditorium.

The event is hosted by the Office of Diversity Education, titled Conversations on Campus — Walking Together: A Conversation on Inclusion and Our Community.

Space is limited for this event, and students attending will receive free lunch and must RSVP on Orgsync. As of Nov. 29, 221 people RSVP'd.

According to the Orgsync description of the event, it is meant to provide a platform to address the topics of diversity and inclusion in CMU's community.

Central Michigan University faculty members, students and Mount Pleasant community members will also take part in the panel discussion, in addition to the university president.

Personal stories and insight will be shared and there will be a Q&A moderated by students with the chance for attendees to ask questions.
