Evaluation of Ross to be presented at Board of Trustees

President George Ross and the Central Michigan Board of Trustees met April 30 in President's Conference Room.

A review of President George Ross will be presented at this Thursday's Central Michigan University Board of Trustees meeting.

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the President's Conference Room in the Bovee University Center, the Presidential Review Committee will present and make a motion to accept a performance review of Ross. His salary for 2016 will also be established.

Among other agenda items are appointing a new director to the CMU Research Corporation, establishing a Masters of Science Administration degree and approving prospective graduates for this Saturday's commencement ceremony. 

There are two opportunities for public comment available during the meeting. Those wishing to comment on agenda items can speak at the beginning, while non-agenda comments are reserved for the end of the meeting. Those wishing to speak must register 24 hours in advance to address the board.

The Board of Trustees is the governing body of CMU, selected by Michigan's governor. The board governs the business and finances of the university.
