Isabella County Central Dispatch received another call at 3 a.m. Friday reporting two men attempting to break into vehicles outside of the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority house on Main Street near Downtown Mount Pleasant.

Officer Jeff Browne of the Mount Pleasant Police Department said officers received multiple complaints of auto break-ins Thursday, but only one victim on Main Street filed a police report.

Paige Susalla, a resident at the Sigma Sigma Sigma house, said she and several of her friends saw a man attempting to enter their cars by testing for unlocked doors early Friday morning.

Susalla described the suspect as wearing all black with a thin build and had a bandanna covering his face. Another resident at the house said they saw a second individual in a black sweatshirt and khakis.

"[W]hen they realized we were watching, they took off running," Susalla wrote in an email sent to CM Life. She also said another man living on Main Street had his tires slashed.

Susalla said her car was broken into Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. A pair of sunglasses and money were stolen from her vehicle.

A resident at 915 S. Main Street reported finding a golf cart key lodged in the ignition of his 1999 Ford Ranger Thursday morning, but nothing was stolen. The golf cart key belonged to the complainant and was taken out of the vehicle's glove compartment.

If your vehicle is damaged or broken into, file a police report with the Mount Pleasant Police Department or other local law enforcement.
