Mount Pleasant hosts "Downtown Reimagined", real estate open house tours
Downtown Mount Pleasant will host a real estate open house to showcase spaces with the potential of redevelopment on Aug. 4 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
"Downtown Reimagined" will feature available properties being open for tours. City staff will be available to answer questions about zoning, building codes and available state and local incentives.
Arts, crafts and food vendors will be at each location to help better reimagine the possibilities for each space.
Six properties are currently committed to participating -- 128 East Broadway St., 118 East Broadway St., 117 South Main St., 114 South Main St., 120 South Main St. and 221 West Michigan St.

As “Downtown Reimagined” takes place, the eighth week of Thrilling Thursday will begin at 6 p.m with “Stepping Stones”. Hosted in front of Isabella Community Credit Union, patrons will be decorating personal stepping stones for gardens or walkways.
Max and Emily’s summer concert series continues with Brian Vander Ark with Channing and Quinn at 7 p.m.
