"The Incredible Race!" to take place Thursday in Downtown Mount Pleasant
For the seventh week this summer, the "Thrilling Thursdays" event series will bring residents to Downtown Mount Pleasant on July 28 at 6 p.m. This week's activity is "The Incredible Race!"
According to the event's Facebook page, patrons will begin in Town Center at the intersection of Main and Broadway Streets.
The event will be run similar to the fifth Thrilling Thursday's scavenger hunt. Teams will grab a sheet of tasks and race to be the first to complete the tasks.
Prizes will be awarded based on the order of return once the list completion is verified. First prize is a $100 Pisanello's Pizza gift card, second place prize is a $75 Stan's Famous Restaurant gift card and third place prize is a $50 Max and Emily's Bakery Cafe gift card.
Contestants are encouraged to fully charge their phone prior to the event.
The purpose of the Thrilling Thursdays series is to encourage residents to "#MakeDowntownYourDestination" this summer. The 10-week series will feature a different event each week in the city's downtown. It continues every Thursday until Aug. 18.
