Bueter, Robertson named to Preseason All-MAC West Team

Central Michigan’s Jordan Bueter and Taylor Robertson were named to the Preseason All Mid-American Conference West Team in a poll by league coaches.

Both juniors recorded over 300 kills during the 2015 season.

Bueter, an outside hitter from South Bend, Indiana earned All-MAC honorable mention last season. She led the Chippewas with 361 kills. Her career-high 42 aces was ranked second in the MAC.

Robertson, an outside hitter from Midland, recorded 312 kills last fall, including a season-high of 20 kills against Western Michigan.

The Chippewas are picked to finish fourth in the MAC West behind Northern Illinios, Western Michigan and Ball State.

Miami was selected to win the MAC East as well as the overall conference and MAC tournament.

The team's first home game is on Sept. 30 against NIU.
