Art Walk Central reschedules Art Battle
The signature event of Art Walk Central has been rescheduled after being postponed due to rain.
Art Battle will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Town Center in downtown Mount Pleasant. The event pits artists against each other in order to win $200.
In Art Battle, artists have two hours to complete their work of art. Artists can enter the competition online for $25. The event is open to the public.
The event was originally scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 27.
The events Paint the Intersection and Street Studio were also postponed from Saturday. No makeup date has been announced.
Art Walk Central is an art infusion where more than 120 artists display their work at 17 different area locations in order to win cash prizes. The event began Aug. 20 and runs until Sept. 10.
