Tree Love Collective to present one-night music festival, live art

Tree Love Collective is presenting Terry XL, a one-night music festival Sept. 30 at the Centennial Hall, 306 W Michigan St.

The event features a merging of the band members from Big Sherb and The Paddlebots, and performances from DJake and Savage.

The show begins at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $7.

The event will combine live music with the Mount Pleasant art community, including live painting, performance artists and art vendors.

Savage, a bass music DJ from Traverse City, will kick off the night at 10 p.m. DJake, a local electric funk DJ, will follow at 10:30 p.m.

At 11:30 p.m. members of the band Big Sherb and Paddlebots will merge for the first time to form the funk band, Terry XL.

The night will close at 12:30 p.m. with a performance of DJake B2B Savage.

Three live artists will perform throughout the event. Seven art venders will also be present.

The event is for ages 18 and up.
