Solidarity — an event dedicated in support for survivors of domestic violence and sexual aggression — will be held Oct. 26 in the Bovee University Center Rotunda.

The event will begin with poetry and musical performances at 7 p.m. and is open to  Central Michigan University students, staff and facility.

A speak out for those affected by sexual aggression will follow the performances. Because the event is a public forum, stories disclosed at the event do not have to be reported by CMU employees.

Food will be provided at the event. Sexual Aggression Peer Advocates — who are hosting the event — will be present to support and console attendees.
