The Office of LGBTQ Services is hosting a Drag Show from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11 in the Plachta Auditorium.

The annual performance is free and open to the public.

Drag Queen Sabin has been the main performer of Central Michigan University's Drag Show for the last night years. Every year Sabin brings a variety of performances during the show to the campus community.

“Students will have an opportunity to see the art of drag,” said Shannon Jolliff-Dettore, director of the Office of LGBTQ Services.

The show is part of several pride events in April sponsored by the office as a celebration of the LGBTQ community on campus and around the world.

“(Students can) engage with the artists, hopefully get in some laughs and feel a sense of community on a large level as the show brings in a large number of people,” Jolliff-Dettore said.
