A Stuttering Discussion Panel will take place as part of Stuttering Awareness Week at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26 in the Kiva Theatre of Moore Hall.

Students are invited to listen to a panel of experts discuss their experiences with stuttering and how it has shaped them into who they are today.

This event follows the "Stuttering Simulation" event that will be held on Thursday, Oct. 26.

"Anyone who communicates with people would benefit from attending these events, especially the panel," said Sue Woods, a professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, who will be facilitating all events during Stuttering Awareness Week.

This is the 17th annual Stuttering Awareness Week hosted by the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. The week is always held near International Stuttering Awareness Day, which is Oct. 22. Each year, a "Panel of Experts Who Can Stutter" has been featured and has been the most attended event.
