Open forum on search for Chief Diversity Officer candidates to take place Nov. 8

Consultants from the executive search firm Witt Kieffer will host an open forum session on the search for candidates for the position of Chief Diversity Officer 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 8, in the Bovee University Center Auditorium.

Two consultants from Witt Kieffer – Oliver Tomlin and Jennifer Bauer – will moderate the forum. Central Michigan University students and faculty are encouraged to attend and engage with the the consultants to help them become more familiar with the university's culture and understand the ideal qualifications for the new position.

Witt Kieffer has assisted CMU with similar searches in the past, including the vice president for advancement and dean of the College of Medicine.

In addition to the open forum, Tomlin and Bauer will hold additional meetings with stakeholder groups throughout the day.

After the meetings, the consultants will meet with President George Ross to develop a profile for ideal candidates based on the input they received.
