City reminds residents of seasonal overnight parking ordinances
The City of Mount Pleasant is reminding residents of seasonal overnight parking laws that start Friday.
Parking on the street and in city lots is prohibited in non-downtown areas from 2-5 a.m. from Dec.1 to April 1, 2018.
The city issued the reminder in a press release Wednesday, Nov. 29.
Throughout the entire year, on-street parking is prohibited downtown from 4-6 a.m.
For those that have overnight parking permits, several parking lots in the city have designated areas where overnight parking is allowed.
If anybody is in violation of the parking ordinances, they are subject to a fine, according to the press release.
