Senior forward Tinara Moore breaks CMU single-season point record

On a free throw with 1:32 left in the third quarter, Central Michigan senior forward Tinara Moore broke the CMU single-season point record with 589 points in the 2017-18 season for the Chippewas. 

With her seventh-point in the Mid-American Conference championship game against Buffalo, the 6-foot-3 forward from Southgate passed Crystal Bradford. 

In the 2013-14 season, Bradford scored 588 points. She went on to be selected No. 7 overall in the 2015 WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks. 

Coming into March 10, Moore was tied for second with Jody Beerman, who logged 582 points in the 1986-87 season for the Chippewas.
