Final Centennial Nights of the spring semester to take place April 19
Producers of Centennial Nights will allow fan-favorite bands Pining and Pineapple Psychology to close out the last Centennial Nights of the semester.
"Centennial Nights: Spring Send Off" will to take place from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. April 19 at Centennial Hall, located at 306 W. Michigan St.
Admission is $12 at the door. Tickets can be bought in advance at www.eventbrite.com for $10 plus an additional $2.61 fee.
The monthly event is a celebration of local artists and music from an array of genres. The event is organized and sponsored by Magical Mitten Productions and Skuzzy Boys Presents LLC along with a group of members and promoters.
The venue comprises two rooms: the "live room," dedicated to live bands, and the "vibe room," dedicated to hip hop, dubstep, house and similar genres.
Pining and Pineapple Psychology, who have each played at over six different Centennial Nights venues, will headline April's Spring Send Off "live room."
Sir Alexander — a cellist from West Michigan and friend of producer Chris Stewart — will commence the evening.
Yeesh & Friends, The Red Wires and Crystal Images will also showcase their abilities in a live set.
For those who arrive early, Julia Wozny will be leading the venue's "Yoga at Centennial Nights" in the "vibe room" from 8-9 p.m. Attendees must bring their own mats.
AMINALHOUSE, SkInZ and Spaceship Earth will headline the "vibe room," with R1xomusic kicking off the evening.
