Soaring Eagle Casino will unveil its new High Limit gaming and VIP Lounge at 3 p.m. on April 6 with a ceremonial opening.

Kristina Griffus, the advertising and public relations manager at Soaring Eagle Casino, said these renovations are designed to gratify the high rollers of the casino. The renovation began on Jan. 15 and was expected to be finished on April 22.

The ceremonial opening includes a ribbon cutting and welcome addresses from Soaring Eagle's CEO Ray Brenny and Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribal Chief Ronnie Ekdahl.

"This transformation is one of many more to come," Brenny said in a press release. "I'm pleased with the results that I'm seeing from the steadfast efforts of I5 Design Company and the construction teams. Tremendous progress was seen week after week, so I'm not surprised that it's two weeks ahead of schedule."

The new High Limits gaming and VIP Lounge are located where the old poker room was.

Soaring Eagle Casino plans on integrating a brand new sports bar and night club, updating the entertainment hall, enclosing a non-smoking area, redesigning Kid's Quest and Cyber Quest and relocating their poker room. The entire $26.5 million renovation is set to be complete by September 2018.

This project is the largest renovation project Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort has invested in since its grand opening in 1997 and the most recent since 2011.
