Senior forward Reyna Frost looks to her opponent after being fouled on Feb. 2 in McGuirk Arena.

For the sixth time this season, Central Michigan's Reyna Frost has been named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week.

The senior forward shined in CMU's 76-65 win over the Buffalo Bulls on Feb. 2 at McGuirk Arena. She tallied 28 points and a season-high 21 rebounds on her way to the 17th double-double she's posted in the 2018-19 campaign.

Frost's performance was the second time she recorded more than 20 boards and points in her career.

Most of Frost's 28 points came from the guards driving to the basket, and allowing Frost to be open for layups.

"They did a great job of getting me passes to be able to finish," Frost said after the victory over the Bulls. "I knew we had to control the boards so I just went after the ball and made sure they didn't get it."

With the win, the Chippewas moved to 15-5, 6-2 MAC which is good enough for first place in the MAC West Division. CMU continues its home-stand with a matchup against Ball State at 7 p.m. on Feb.6 in McGuirk Arena.
