Mount Pleasant City Commission discuss items on the evening's agenda Feb. 11 at Mount Pleasant City Hall.

The Mount Pleasant City Commission has a light agenda for its March 25 meeting. Here is what residents can expect to see in CM Life's upcoming coverage:

Building Addition

Mount Pleasant will consider an addition to the Lions Club building at Pickens Field. They will also consider a use agreement between the Mount Pleasant Area Girls Youth Softball and Mount Pleasant Little League.

Lighting Addition

The commission will consider an area lighting installation at Hannah’s Bark Park, proposed by Friends of the Dog Park.

Director of Parks and Public Spaces Chris Bundy said Hannah’s Bark Park, located within Mission Creek Park, has over 200 registered users who pay an annual $30 fee for use of the space. Park users are requesting lights be installed to increase safety and visibility at sunrise and sunset, seeing that the park is open from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The meeting scheduled for  7 p.m. March 25 at City Hall, 320 W. Broadway Street.
